Elle permet de mettre en avant une communauté d’idées, un idéal partagé. Ce travail analyse les différentes modalités de citations et le rôle central de la lecture dans ce processus. For Quevedo, quoting is paying a tribute to a glorious past, with no parodic intention, in order to justify the situation at the present time. It reactivates one major authority through various processes, often complex, so as to support the words spoken by the second writer, which is so brought into play. Quoting is a way to point up shared ideas and a common pattern. Cette réflexion est menée à partir de Medealand de Sarah Stridsberg (2009). A comparatist perspective invites us to question the traditional chronological and linear approach which considers a modern rewriting in the light of the antique reference work and places it de facto in an ancillary position. It suggests that, the relation may be mutual and the modern play also contributes to the interpretation of the older text.
