Clio@Themis publishes papers around the three ideas "History, Law, Society", that is to say contributions practicing the historical method, with a legal object and open to social sciences. In doing so, the journal pays particular attention to the importance of analytical and epistemological reflection to contribute to the development of debates and scientific exchanges on the history of law, in France and more generally on a global scale.
The journal not only publishes contributions within the framework of thematic dossiers, but also off-dossier scientific papers corresponding to its editorial line. It can thus accommodate proposals for papers throughout the year, in French and English, but also in German, Italian or Spanish.
Interested contributors are invited to consult the "recommandations aux auteurs" section to submit their paper.
