How to respond to a CFP?

Calls-for-papers take place twice a year. Each CFP is open for 6 months.

The conditions for participation and the publication schedule are indicated in each CFP. The current and archived CFPs are available on the CFP page.

How to submit a paper for the varia ?

The journal allows authors to submit unrestricted contributions dealing with borders, boundaries, limits or separation. These papers will be included in the Varia section of each issue within 6 to 12 months, in line with the editorial calendar. The manuscript will not exceed 20,000 signs excluding spaces and will follow the journal’s editorial standards. Contributions should be sent to frontiere-s@msh-lse.fr.

How to propose a book review ?

Reviews of books dealing with borders, boundaries, separation, etc. may be submitted for publication. These will be included in the Reviews section of the next issue. A list of books available for review is published twice a year in our newsletter.

Your review, from 4,000 to 10,000 characters, should reach us within six months of receiving the book. It should be formatted according to the editorial standards of the journal and sent to frontiere-s@msh-lse.fr.

To publishers and authors: if you wish to have a book included in our list, please contact us at the same address. Please do not send books directly to us, but send them to the address of the person who will be responsible for the report.

How to propose a thematic issue or a CFP ?

Proposals for thematic issues and calls-for-papers should be sent in the form of a 4,000 to 6,000 characters argument, with or without a table of contents, to frontiere-s@msh-lse.fr. They will be evaluated by the editorial board of the journal. The authors of the proposal are responsible for writing the call and translating it into English, as well as for the evaluation and standardisation of the articles in the volume. They also ensure compliance with the journal’s publication policy.
