Elle joue un rôle primordial dans l’initiation des lecteurs russes à la littérature, au théâtre et à l’art de l’Europe occidentale de la fin du xixe siècle et du début du xxe siècle. Parallèlement à son travail d’ambassadrice culturelle, elle aborde les questions du sens du mouvement symboliste, le symbolisme comme phénomène et la différence entre le décadentisme et le symbolisme. Ces questions restent toujours d’actualité et font d’elle une médiatrice importante dans le processus du développement du mouvement symboliste en Russie. This article is dedicated to Zinaida Vengerova (1867-1941), a literary critic, art critic, and theatre critic, who was also a translator from English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. She played a key role in the initiation of Russian readers to the literature, theatre, and art of Western Europe of the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. In addition to her work as a cultural ambassador, she addressed the meaning of the symbolist movement, symbolism as a phenomenon, and the difference between decadence and symbolism. Le rapport du réel à la fiction, au temps qui passe, et la solidarité du lecteur sont les axes essentiels de cette étude. This article analyses two digital works which are attached to grandmothers: Lucette, gare de Clichy by Françoise Chambefort, a work using data from the SNCF to integrate the reader into the work, and Aimée Rolland, a story of Twitterature which traces the life of my grandmother at the rate of a tweet a day for two years.
