Au sein de la slavistique universitaire il existe plusieurs collections, telles que « Slavica Helsingiensia », « Studia Slavica Lausannensia » ou encore « Specimina slavica lugdunensia ». La nouvelle collection de la slavistique italienne — appelée « Les courants confluents entre la Russie et l’Europe » — poursuit la tradition des « Archives russo-italiennes ». Sous l’expression courants confluents, nous comprenons la manière d’être d’une culture sur le sol étranger, et la genèse des idées et des œuvres alimentées par cette transplantation. Au centre des intérêts de la nouvelle collection se trouvent toujours les documents d’archives, mais aussi les transformations que subissent les objets culturels privés de leur terrain d’origine. Le dossier thématique du premier volume concerne le compositeur du XVIIIᵉ siècle Giovanni Paisiello, plus particulièrement sa période pétersbourgeoise et sa correspondance inédite. Le deuxième volume réunit de nouveaux documents relatifs à Zinaida Volkonskaja et à ses parents, le prince et la princesse Belosel’skij. L’essai de Maria Cicognani Wolkonsky est consacré à sa mère, Elena Vadimovna, descendante du décembriste Sergej Volkonskij. Un chapitre spécial est réservé à la vie sociale de Maksim Gor’kij en Italie, en particulier, à ses relations avec la famille de Sergej Botkin et la princesse Nadejda Šahovskaja, ses lettres à Ekaterina Botkina (1908) et son « mythe de Capri ». La partie finale de l’ouvrage propose une description détaillée des archives italiennes (408 pièces) conservées au Département des manuscrits de l’Institut de littérature russe à Saint-Pétersbourg. В первый том вошли исследования о петербургском периоде жизни композитора Джованни Паизиелло, в частности обзоры его театральных постановок и неизданная переписка. Во втором томе опубликованы новые материалы о Зинаиде Волконской и о ее родителях, князе и княгине Белосельских. Мемуарный очерк Марии Чиконяьни-Волконской посвящен ее матери Елене Вадимовне, а также истории рода, восходящего к декабристу Сергею Волконскому. Отдельный раздел второго тома посвящен Максиму Горькому в Италии: его связям с семьей Сергея Боткина и с княжной Надеждой Шаховской, его письмам к Екатерине Боткиной (1908), «партийной школе» на Капри. Заключительная часть тома содержит описание итальянских архивов (408 позиций) из Рукописного отдела Института русской литературы. Editorial collections are generally published with less regularity than the journals, but both types of publications share certain characteristics each boasting of its own visual and intellectual identity. Within the field of Slavic studies, several editorial collections are available, for example: Slavica Helsingiensia, Studia Slavica Lausannensia or Specimina slavica lugdunensia. The new Italian book series “Countercurrents between Russia and Europe” continues the tradition of the “Archivio russo-italiano” formerly associated with the Europa Orientalis journal. “Countercurrents” imply the existence of a culture taking root in foreign soil and the emergence of ideas and works encouraged and nurtured by such transplantation. Archival documents remain at the heart of the new collection along with the study of transformations experienced by people, objects, and works of art resulting from their travel across space and time. The first volume focuses on Giovanni Paisiello, an eighteenth-century composer with special reference to his St. Petersburg period and his unpublished correspondence. The second volume collects new documents relating to Zinaida Volkonskaja and her parents, Prince and Princess Belosel’skij. The composition and fate of the painting The Assumption of Princess Belosel’skaja are the subject of an in-depth study. The essay by Maria Cicognani Wolkonsky is devoted to her mother, Elena Vadimovna, a descendant of the Decembrist Sergej Volkonskij.
