On s’intéresse ici aux divers effets de sens qu’il a tirés de l’anonymat, avant de revendiquer ensuite ses écrits de combat, en intégrant certains de ses libelles du temps de la Ligue à la construction de sa figure d’auteur. Guillaume Du Vair (1556–1621), otherwise well known for his philosophical works in the neo-Stoic trend, is also actively engaged in the political struggles of his time. First sympathising with the League, he then changes his support to Henri IV. He is the author of several anonymous libels, which he later brings together in his complete works. We are interested here in the impact on his readers he achieved from publishing anonymously before officially claiming to be the author of these seditious texts, while integrating a number of them during the era of the League to the construction of his author identity.
