Sous quelles formes les œuvres théâtrales féminines nous sont-elles parvenues ? Et comment s’opère leur intégration dans les collections patrimoniales ? Ce corpus fait-il l’objet d’un traitement particulier, et l’identité de genre est-elle un facteur dans ce traitement ? Grâce à une approche interdisciplinaire croisant les études littéraires et les outils de l’analyse bibliothéconomique, l’article entend interroger l’entrée ou non des œuvres dans les collections patrimoniales, leur présence, leur traitement, et montrer comment la préservation du matrimoine matériel – à savoir les pièces de femmes en tant que livres imprimés – est liée à la réception historiographique dont ce théâtre a fait l’objet. Based on a bibliographic survey of the theatrical collections at the National Library of France (BnF), a primary conservation site in France, this article aims to study the conservation and collection practices that women’s theatre from the Ancien Régime has undergone between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. In what forms have female theatrical works come down to us? And how is their integration into heritage collections carried out? Does this corpus receive special treatment, and is the feminine gender a factor in this treatment?
