Notre terrain d’enquête sociologique est la ville de Lyon, représentant un cas paradigmatique de l’héritage francophone chez les migrants sub-sahariens. Nous mettrons en évidence la manière dont le monde francophone est au centre des questions interculturelles posées par ces interlocuteurs francophones, qui à travers leurs parcours migratoires incarnent les enjeux du vivre ensemble grâce à la différence qu’ils véhiculent, faisant ainsi émerger d’autres francophonies. I focus on the relationship between the French language and the migrants’ languages in France, which reveals the wider societal transformations driven by international migrations, now a crucial factor of our time. I carried out sociological fieldwork in Lyon, a paradigmatic case of the linguistic Francophone legacy among Sub-Saharan migrants.
