En s’appuyant sur les théories structuralistes, psychanalytiques et postmodernes, nous démontrons la nature des rapports entre l’œuvre original, l’adaptation et les illustrations bulgares et l’influence qui se présente à l’un vis-à-vis de l’autre. The aim of this article is to study the reception, in Bulgaria, of Don Quixote of La Mancha with Svetlin Vassilev’s contemporary iconographic illustrations for the youth album of the Milan editions. Cette étude prouve l’articulation entre le littéraire et le cinématographique tant à travers le lexique déployé qu’à travers la structuration de Vaste est la prison. Instaurant un échange entre le littéraire et le cinématographique, le texte djébarien se veut un art de délivrance dans la mesure où cette romancière se permet de libérer sa voix et celles des ancêtres. The cinematographic writing is permanently present in Assia Djebar’s Vast is the prison. This research is an attempt to prove the undeniable link between the literary writing and the cinematographic one, through both language and structure used in Vast is the prison.
