Instaurant un échange entre le littéraire et le cinématographique, le texte djébarien se veut un art de délivrance dans la mesure où cette romancière se permet de libérer sa voix et celles des ancêtres. The cinematographic writing is permanently present in Assia Djebar’s Vast is the prison. This research is an attempt to prove the undeniable link between the literary writing and the cinematographic one, through both language and structure used in Vast is the prison.
